Supporting Black Rhino Academy Scholarships
Oasis Residence proudly supports the Black Rhino Academy Scholarship Program, expanding access to high-quality education for talented students from the Karatu area.
This work is supported through Black Rhino Academy Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the United States and a registered foundation (Stiftung) in Germany, allowing eligible donations from both countries to be tax-deductible. This structure enables guests and partners from around the world to contribute with confidence.
As part of our commitment, Oasis Residence contributes $5 for every room night booked toward scholarships.
A full annual scholarship is approximately $4,000, covering:
Tuition
Learning materials
School meals
Boarding where needed
Extracurricular opportunities
By supporting students over multiple years, the program creates lasting pathways to education, employment, and community leadership.
